Jennifer Lopez Santiago
A first-generation storyteller writing about intuition, becoming, family, service, and the places that remind us life is bigger than what we were handed.
Hi, I'm Jennifer. By day, I work in a senior leadership role at a large organization, overseeing complex programs. Before that, I served in the U.S. Army as a Chemical Operations Specialist, which is a very official way of saying I trained for high-risk situations most people would rather not think about.
But that's only one part of who I am. At home, I'm a wife and mom to two incredible kids, including my transgender son, who has taught me more about courage and authenticity than any job ever could.
I'm also someone who tries to slow down... even if my ADHD has other plans. I meditate, practice yoga again after a long break, and do my best to stay present. Some days, that looks like grounding in nature or going for a long walk. Other days, it's me flopping on the couch, closing my eyes, and doing breathwork while pretending the laundry doesn't exist.
I didn't come from money or privilege. I grew up with very little, so the fact that I now get to travel the world still blows my mind. My last trip was to Antarctica, and even writing that down feels surreal. Travel is my favorite thing in the world. It reminds me how big life is and how much is possible.
A few years ago, I had a spiritual awakening that changed everything. It helped me reconnect with my intuition... my La Que Sabe, the part of me that just knows. That inner voice is what led me to write my first book.
When I'm not working or writing, I spend time volunteering. I sit with hospice patients at the end of their journey, simply being present and offering companionship. I've also worked with homeless veterans, a cause close to my heart.
I've lived a lot of life, asked a lot of questions, and found meaning in places I never expected. Now I want to help others do the same. If you're on your own journey of figuring things out... you're in the right place.
First book. It is not out yet, but it is coming soon. This site is the first place where the story, release details, and future reader updates will live.
